Meet the MUSE

Updated: Jan 19

Stella Link | Vox Stellarum is a vocalist, composer, and performance artist whose work centers on the ancient Greek lyre original compositions and lyrical vocals. With over two decades of stage experience, she brings a rare blend of musical creativity, presence, and playfulness to every performance, making her equally at home in intimate listening spaces and theatrical settings.

Originally from Chicago, Stella’s background spans award-winning live performance, comedy, vocal interpretation, and long-form stage work. She has led and produced multiple performance ensembles and theater companies, developing a deep understanding of audience connection, timing, and musical storytelling. This foundation continues to inform her work today, though her focus has shifted fully toward original compositions and live music performance.

Her current work, The Medicinal Muse, features original music for Greek lyre and voice inspired by ancient modes, folk traditions, and intuitive composition. The lyre—her primary instrument—has become both muse and medium, guiding a more spacious, intentional musical language that invites deep listening and presence. Performances are simple yet expressive, marked by melodic clarity, whimsical lyrics, and a sense of elegance.

While Stella’s earlier career included work in sound healing and vibroacoustic technology, these influences now live quietly within the music itself—no longer presented as a modality, but as an embodied sensitivity to resonance, rhythm, and rest. The result is music that feels grounding, enchanting, and transportive.

Offstage, Stella is an author, visual artist, and lifelong devotee of craft coffee. She shares her home with two pugs, Picasso and Rembrandt, who serve as devoted studio companions and all the snoring sound effects in the recording lab.
